Seed beads in my bowl
So, knitting away on the version B of Ice Queen continues. It is enjoyable. There are many more beads on Version B, when compared with Version A. Each seed bead that is applied, is like an individual ice pellet that has fallen from the sky. This past Friday, we had an ice storm. And the seed beads fell from the sky.

The beginning of the endless beaded picot bind off has started.
These stitches can't be hurried along. The fact that I am enjoying the process tells me that it could take even longer. My Ice Queen seems frozen in time....

I found a layer of hail on the ground when I went out this morning too, but not enough to require shovelling!

I hate to tell you but we are having unusually warm days here. 50 something today. It just doesn't feel right. We will pay dearly for these warm days I am afraid.
Those pictures took my breath away! Oh, I was wishing I had your camera this morning. There was a HUGE bird perched in one of the pecan trees in our back yard, the thing was enormous. My lttle digital was on the flower macro and before I could change it to get a good shot, he flew away. Had to have been a hawk, biggest one I've ever seen. We'd best keep the cat indoors!
Thank you for sharing your ice with me! It was in the 60's here today, and totally unpleasant, considering it's winter time. (but you knew about the unpleasant parts from my blog, oops!) Your comments always cheer me so. Thanks for the compliment about the zafu. I brought them both down to the local art gallery today, and felt a little nervous. Nice to have a friend cheering me on..and they looked downright artistic, up on the display shelf!

The Ice Queen is beautiful. However, the truck didn't like getting up close and personal with the guardrail because of that other ice!
