So, knitting away on the version B of Ice Queen continues. It is enjoyable. There are many more beads on Version B, when compared with Version A. Each seed bead that is applied, is like an individual ice pellet that has fallen from the sky. This past Friday, we had an ice storm. And the seed beads fell from the sky.
Ice pellets on my snow shovel.
The beginning of the endless beaded picot bind off has started.
These stitches can't be hurried along. The fact that I am enjoying the process tells me that it could take even longer. My Ice Queen seems frozen in time....

I always enjoy your photography, Cyndy - but today your pictures are particularly stunning.
What a satisfying post.
I found a layer of hail on the ground when I went out this morning too, but not enough to require shovelling!
Lovely frozen photos! That ice bubble is wild! Looking forward to your completed Ice Queen.
Gorgeous!

Fascinating top photo with the clear beads. I thought at first it really was ice. Amazing what you can find when you look around.
OOOooooooo so beautiful. I can't wait to see your finished product. I love beaded items. I am in awe of your talent.
I hate to tell you but we are having unusually warm days here. 50 something today. It just doesn't feel right. We will pay dearly for these warm days I am afraid.
Those pictures took my breath away! Oh, I was wishing I had your camera this morning. There was a HUGE bird perched in one of the pecan trees in our back yard, the thing was enormous. My lttle digital was on the flower macro and before I could change it to get a good shot, he flew away. Had to have been a hawk, biggest one I've ever seen. We'd best keep the cat indoors!
Thank you for sharing your ice with me! It was in the 60's here today, and totally unpleasant, considering it's winter time. (but you knew about the unpleasant parts from my blog, oops!) Your comments always cheer me so. Thanks for the compliment about the zafu. I brought them both down to the local art gallery today, and felt a little nervous. Nice to have a friend cheering me on..and they looked downright artistic, up on the display shelf!
Cyndy---just to let you know, I've gone and awarded your blog again. you certainly don't need to pass it on, since you already have! lol.
The photos today are so spot on. Perfect! Good thing you didn't knit Ice Queen in the summer, lol.
Stunning!
Just plain gorgeous!
Wow - what stunning photos! They're always good but the symetry (?) of these shots is wonderful and I am in awe of them! Many Thanks for the award I really am touched and will now try not to procratsinate myself now!!
Lovely! Your photo of how to put the beads on finally made it click for me!
The Ice Queen is beautiful. However, the truck didn't like getting up close and personal with the guardrail because of that other ice!
I can't wait to see the finished project....and since you are having so much fun you can help me when I start it...Pretty please?! :^D
I never realized what an amazing camera you have until just now. And you really know how to use it!
Your photos are amazing, I love the seed beads, can't wait to see the ice queen in all her glory!
The ice theme is so special in your pictures. You know how to use that camera!
