walk with me wednesday-adjust

Photobucket

We haven't walked together for a time.

Photobucket

It is late summer, the early mornings are foggy and the air is thick with mist, the dew collects on grass..and petals...so fragile.

Photobucket

There isn't much to say today. There are, however, so many, many things to think about. So the walk is a prayerful one. A meditation.

Photobucket

A private moment. Shared.

Photobucket

The fawns are loosing their spots, and the bucks are showing their velvet.

Photobucket

and there are changes, to notice, and accept. deliberate as they are...and startling at the moment...a reminder that it is time to adjust.

Lovely....and perfect for this August day.

What do you call the lily in the second photo? I have one given to me by MIL. She called it a resurrection lily. Mine is probably 10 years old, but has only bloomed these past two years. It is blooming now and is lovely.

That's a hibiscus in the second picture, right?

I see the light changing here too, and the leaves very slowly starting to turn! Yay!

It is amazing how fast the leaves are starting to fall. I am not ready!

I hope all is well and good for you and your hubby. Enjoy this fall weather. Fall always is a contemplative time for me too. Big hugs.
