I don't know how they know. But I am glad there is at least one bulb I can plant that they won't dig up or chew off the flowers. (sigh)

After 2 years of trying my mom gave up planting flowers and bulbs around our house on the rez; as soon as they bloomed the sheep and goats at the flowers. Stomachs made of steel foraging on sagebrush and tough N Arizona grass?
