significance of the day
Take the time, remember them, thank them....
honor them this Memorial Day.
Although my dad didn't die in the war, he was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. I thought about him a lot on Monday (he died seven years ago in May) and wrote about his amazing post D-Day experience on my blog. He, and many, many others like him, didn't see themselves as heroes, but others sure did.
