walk with me on a wet wednesday

It rained today, and I was a bit "under the weather". I really didn't walk very far at all. It was so chilly. The air was moist, full of fog...

the buds are suspended, held in readiness, for the bloom. Soon they will come into their own...and their trumpets will herald the arrival...

I hope there will be bees.

Hope you're out from "under the weather" soon. We are to get either rain or snow overnight and tomorrow. Your daffies look to be at about the same growth as ours. The bees will come.

Beautiful water droplets. Hope you feel better soon.

Looks like the buds will stay that way for a short time while the cold spell is here and that white "pollen" is covering the ground!!!

Such lovely greens in those pictures. Hope you have kicked the under the weather bug. :)

That is so depressing about the bees. Have you ever pet a bee? When my son was little, we'd go outside early in the morning, before the bees had a chance to warm in the sun. They wouldn't move while you pet them - so soft and so beautiful! I'm glad I only buy organic.

How bizarre to see daffodils that haven't opened yet! Ours came out a month ago and are nearly finished now...

Some Wednesdays just don't call for long walks. You captured the mood and beauty perfectly.

A friend told me that since my garden is organic, he counted a number of bees that are rarely seen. And I did have a big bumblebee buzzing around the other day.
