It rained today, and I was a bit "under the weather". I really didn't walk very far at all. It was so chilly. The air was moist, full of fog...
the buds are suspended, held in readiness, for the bloom. Soon they will come into their own...and their trumpets will herald the arrival...
Hope you're out from "under the weather" soon. We are to get either rain or snow overnight and tomorrow. Your daffies look to be at about the same growth as ours. The bees will come.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water droplets. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the buds will stay that way for a short time while the cold spell is here and that white "pollen" is covering the ground!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so depressing about the bees. Have you ever pet a bee? When my son was little, we'd go outside early in the morning, before the bees had a chance to warm in the sun. They wouldn't move while you pet them - so soft and so beautiful! I'm glad I only buy organic.
ReplyDeleteHow bizarre to see daffodils that haven't opened yet! Ours came out a month ago and are nearly finished now...
ReplyDeleteSome Wednesdays just don't call for long walks. You captured the mood and beauty perfectly.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos, do hope they helped to lift your spirts
