Thoughts and observations from life around the riverrim....
...including spinning weaving, knitting, gardening, flax, chickens, rabbits, alpaca..............
and whatever wild life wanders by
The weatherman said this morning that for the past nine months we have had below normal temps. I did walk into the greenhouse and it felt wonderful. Now to just clean it up from the chickens getting in there and I'll be ready to grow.
There's finally a break in the rain here in Seattle, and I was able to open the sliding glass door for the kitty to let some fresh air in through the screen door. He slept in a sun puddle for about 20 minutes, but then it got too cold and I had to close things up again.
and we go back to 30C for the next couple of days hard to sleep at night, will send you some garden photos next week no grapes and very little fruit this year due to last years drought. one apple tree only had one apple on it the others nothing

I'm ready for spring. Now, please.
strangely, it is still intermittently snowing here, too - in Tennessee! not enough to play in - just enough to wreak havoc on scheduling. :\
i, too, am ready for spring!

What a day. It might get up to 32 tomorrow so maybe some of the snow will melt away. It seems like the snow will last forever this year.
