many thanks to all who have emailed me to check and see if we are ok....
the rain has been falling every day... and the water is high...

the turbulent waters of the river remind me of how difficult life can be at times...

there have been some hard times around the riverrim these past few months...but like the flood waters, the hard times are receding and someday soon the river will return to its normal steady flow....and life will be easier again.

Meanwhile...all the rain has been good for something.

The broccoli does not seem to mind it a bit!

And there is still beauty to be found in the simplicity of a pea blossom....

I am so glad to see you posting again! I had been hoping it was sheer busyness and nothing terrible that kept you from blogging. Sending sunshine your way!

Phew! I never like to ask someone why they aren't posting in case it's something they don't want to talk about.I'm so British - lol
Glad to see you back.

How wonderful to discover this post, to find that you are once again drawing solace, strength and inspiration from the good earth...even the untended garden has beauty to give us and lessons to teach us, as you obviously know!
Peace be with you.

We've had "a lot" of rain too, and I lost over half my broccoli to soft rot. Bummer. But the pics you posted of your turbulent river - oh my! We don't have it anywhere near that bad. Hope you get some relief soon.
