ice words
The cold came last night.
And when you couldn't see it happen... a film of crystalline ice transformed the forest.
It was beautiful, wasn't it?! But glad it wasn't worse...we could have been Missouri if it was just a little colder! Let's see what Sunday's storm brings.
Beautiful! (I know, redundant, redundant, redundant, but it's the *right* word to use)
I also like your snow pictures with the flash (Dec 13th). The fat blobbly flakes in the foreground and the smaller ones farther back, and then the snow covered boughs... very nice!
Beautiful, beautiful pictures! We might get some snow here in a day or so, but you have certainly put me into a winter mindframe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are amazing, what a sight!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture looks like euonymus to me. Ice here, too.
ReplyDeleteare you thawed and dripping today? hope you didn't have tree damage!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. And I'm glad that's not my yard. ;-)
ReplyDeleteCrunchy! Also - not fair. It's supposed to be 78 here today. Warm temperatures are so boring.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! We have snow covering the ground here ..... giving rain for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Just rain here, not ice thank goodness. Our road is a mess in the ice--no one to plow and salt.

ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are thawed out some by now. The ice is beautiful...if you can stay inside.
