I was thinking I just got an exceptionally dirty fleece, but apparently not. It was fun to see how nicely the yarn washed up.Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-71205162013197006772007-08-18T11:57:00.000-04:002007-08-18T11:57:00.000-04:00I love to hear them talk but I don't like what the...I love to hear them talk but I don't like what they are saying! That has led me to believe there are really only a half dozen of them out there making all that racket! Ha Ha Ha! Can you imagine me wondering around in the night trying to count katydids? I'd try to sneak up on them so they didn't stop making noise!Elisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16556270261087981200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-73658812830716392152007-08-18T04:59:00.000-04:002007-08-18T04:59:00.000-04:00Amazing photo! I've always called them cicadas, but I'm not sure what they are or what brood they're from. I don't even notice the sound much anymore, but my SIL came for a visit and said several times, What IS that awful noise?pacalagahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12498703982601315908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-3444507530675051492007-08-17T10:08:00.000-04:002007-08-17T10:08:00.000-04:00GREAT title, Cyndy! :DGREAT title, Cyndy! :DMarcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04194778153887961831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-72353901822175104922007-08-17T09:43:00.000-04:002007-08-17T09:43:00.000-04:00For the last few days, I've heard the cicadas in m...For the last few days, I've heard the cicadas in my neighborhood. My son and I were just remarking how wonderful it is to hear them. He said he can't understand how people find the sound annoying. We both agreed that it's very reassuring to hear them again. We live in Manhattan, so it's very special to us to feel such a connection to the natural rhythm of things. :)annmariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01322340509703991291noreply@blogger.com
