I have never seen a redpoll at our feeders. It is a rarity to see a purple finch at the feeder. I have only seen a PUFI at our feeder a couple of times in the last 13 years of living here. I am certainly aware of the enormity of seeing a Redpoll for the first time. Congratualations and lots of envy. :)Lisa at Greenbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-42873206682610443682007-12-27T14:01:00.000-05:002007-12-27T14:01:00.000-05:00what a sweet looking bird! I stopped using it in Ohio cause all we got were rude pigeon/dove types that chased all the other birds away. You make me want to unpack it again now that we've moved!

Congrats on your Redpoll!Donna Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14235514950908851561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-83117147600246559142007-12-26T17:53:00.000-05:002007-12-26T17:53:00.000-05:00good for birders, bad for birds?I've got the Redpo...good for birders, bad for birds?

I've got the Redpolls every winter.
