Love the Fall colours in your last post - are Sassafras leaves all mitten shaped? I've just shown DD and Hubby in excitement and Hubby has helpfully added that it would be more impressive to find a hand shaped like a leaf! Men! Still I think its neat!Kathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07045803671669833677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-48968482281373268142008-10-24T21:28:00.000-04:002008-10-24T21:28:00.000-04:00Beautiful!! I'm of several different minds on what's the best way to spin alpaca, and since I have so much of it coming my way right now, I'm looking for all the suggestions I can find. I like the flicking idea though...have some gorgeous long staple gray coming my way...I do have some samples I want to play with though...I asked her not to do anything with it until I KnitChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12982339675976234931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-14230463466591688532008-10-24T20:19:00.000-04:002008-10-24T20:19:00.000-04:00I have to agree with everyone that the skein spun ...I have to agree with everyone that the skein spun from the locks is the best. I do keep my waste (especially my cria fleeces) and use it for carding or blending. I also use my Ashford traddy with a bulky flier for plying :)Jodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15665272462573135734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-43070656990838811892008-10-24T12:49:00.000-04:002008-10-24T12:49:00.000-04:00Wow, Elizabeth is going to enable you right into a...Wow, Elizabeth is going to enable you right into a flock of critters! ;-)
That is some beautiful spinning, there.pacalagahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12498703982601315908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5789839.post-22605932497160185042008-10-24T11:42:00.000-04:002008-10-24T11:42:00.000-04:00That great wheel is really awesome. When are you go...That great wheel is really awesome.

When are you going to get fiber animals?
